Twin cyclones make Australia landfall

Twin cyclones made landfall in Australia over the weekend, Trevor in the Northern Territories on Saturday followed by slow-moving Veronica on Sunday along the north-west coast. High winds, torrential rain and flooding are associated with these systems as they move inland. The flood potential caused by Trevor can be seen in the 5-day flood outlook:
