Tropical Depression Four-E Strengthens To Tropical Storm Dolores

 In Event News

Tropical Depression Four-E has now strengthened into TS Dolores- fourth named storm of 2021 Eastern Pacific Season. It has triggered tropical storm warning and hurricane watch for a portion of the west-central coast of Mexico.

Additional strengthening will occur and Dolores will likely be near hurricane strength when it reaches the coast of west-central Mexico by Saturday evening. Dolores will weaken while moving northward along the west-central coast of Mexico.

Dolores will produce heavy rains over coastal sections of the Mexican states during the next few days. As a result, life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides may occur.
