Super Typhoon Goni Makes Landfall In The Philippines
Storm Activity: 11/2/2020
Super Typhoon Goni made landfall on the island of Luzon in the Philippines yesterday. Goni is the world’s strongest storm this year, with super typhoon status as sustained winds reached 125 kph (78 miles per hour) and gusts of up to 170 kph.
Another system, tropical depression Atsani, also formed yesterday in the Philippines region and is expected to pass to the north of the islands.
