Significant winter storm forecast for southern United States
A significant winter storm is forecast to bring snow accumulations to much of the southern US this weekend.
The storm is expected to begin Friday in Texas and Oklahoma, reaching the south-east and mid-Atlantic states on the weekend. Winter storm watches are already in place for northern Texas, Oklahoma and parts of Arkansas and Missouri.
