Multiple M5.5+ Earthquakes Strike Nevada

Three earthquakes struck Nevada, with magnitude 5.7, 5.7 and 5.5, and multiple aftershocks, near Hawthorne, Nevada earlier today. They were centered in a remote area about 70 miles southeast of Lake Tahoe, near the California line, according to the Associated Press.
