Severe Thunderstorms Expected Over Parts of Upper Mississippi Valley Today

 In Event News

Severe thunderstorms, capable of widespread damaging wind gusts and very large hail, are forecasted across portions of east-central Minnesota and much of Wisconsin today.

Isolated strong storms are also possible and may produce locally damaging wind gusts.

Meteorologists warn that atmospheric conditions may allow for a fast-moving high-wind event that can track from Wisconsin to Ohio this week.

Along the way, major cities, such as Rochester and Duluth, Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Madison and LaCrosse, Dubuque, Iowa; Rockford and Chicago, Illinois; Fort Wayne and South Bend, Indiana; Detroit, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio, will be at risk for damaging, dangerous and disruptive weather.
