Arizona wildfires

 In Event News

The Museum wildfire in Arizona grew from 200 acres to more than 1,000 acres overnight, and is located just north of Flagstaff. The Museum wildfire is one of several currently burning in Arizona.

Wildfire real-time data

To visualize the fire perimeter relative to insured exposures, we recommend EigenPrism users set an Alert on the real-time event set “Fire Forecast: Proximity Map for Active US Wildfires”.

This will ensure you will be Alerted for any location within 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 miles of the fire.

EigenPrism users can use these Quick Links to access the following wildfire perimeter maps:

For the Museum fire, an individual quick link is not yet available; however the fire can be viewed in the proximity map event set.

Please contact us if you would like a template impact summary report for the Arizona and other state wildfires; impact summaries contain an overview of the active wildfires that are most relevant, and for which perimeters are available.

Assessing the impact

EigenAlerts provide automated notifications with key metrics to estimate impact:

  • Customized and mobile enabled
  • Updated as forecasts and advisories change

EigenPrism users who have set Wildfire Alerts will receive email and text notifications detailing the estimated impact on their exposures as perimeters become available.

Contact us if you want to use EigenAlerts immediately; you can be up and running in a day if you have data in standard cat model or spreadsheet format.
